Role Overview
As a
Business Development Manager
, you will be responsible for driving new business growth in the Bangalore region.
You'll identify, connect with, and onboard high-potential D2C and eCommerce brands that can benefit from MarketingLab's creative and performance marketing capabilities.
You'll work closely with the leadership team to build relationships, design growth partnerships, and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive
new client acquisition
through strategic outreach, networking, and referrals. - Identify high-potential D2C, eCommerce, and consumer brands in Bangalore and other southern markets.
- Create and deliver strong presentations and pitches that showcase MarketingLab's success stories and capabilities.
- Build and maintain a healthy
sales pipeline
— from first contact to deal closure. - Collaborate with internal strategy and creative teams to tailor proposals based on client needs.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets through consistent business generation.
- Represent MarketingLab at key D2C events, networking meetups, and industry forums.
- Maintain deep understanding of digital marketing trends, tools, and platforms to engage confidently with clients.
Ideal Candidate
- 2–5 years of experience in
business development or client acquisition
within a
digital or performance marketing agency
. - Proven track record of closing deals and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of Meta, Google, and influencer-led growth strategies.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Deep network within the
D2C, startup, or eCommerce ecosystem
in Bangalore. - Self-driven, persuasive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
