Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales / Marketing professional from Welding Consumables or similar industrial products industry
Strong experience in channel sales, dealer management, and institutional sales
Achieve sales targets for allotted territories.
- Strengthen, expand, and monitor dealer/distributor network.
- Liaise with key customers, institutional clients, and corporate bodies for business development.
- Track and analyze competitor activities (pricing, distribution, promotions, advertising).
- Ensure timely collection of payments, overdue receivables, and Earnest Money Deposits (EMD).
- Ensure accurate submission of offers, tenders, and execution of contracts.
- Assess, recommend, and facilitate training needs of sales team/subordinates.
- Monitor after-sales service, resolve quality complaints, and improve customer satisfaction.
Authorities:
- Allocate sales targets to field staff and approve tour programs.
- Supervise and review performance of sales team.
- Recommend appointment or termination of dealers/distributors.
- Verify and approve monthly travel bills of subordinates.
- Sanction leaves of subordinates.
- Recommend advertisement and sales promotion expenses.
