The Role
We're looking for a
Customer Support Specialist
to join our
Tournament Support Team
— helping resolve live event issues, assisting with
data logging
, and ensuring players and coaches get the most out of their Upgame experience.
You'll play a key role in maintaining smooth tournament operations, supporting users in real-time, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and a world-class user experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide real-time tournament support via chat, email, or call
- Assist with
data entry and validation
for live tournaments and events - Troubleshoot user issues quickly and efficiently
- Work closely with the operations and product teams to flag and resolve recurring issues
- Maintain detailed records of user interactions and feedback
- Ensure high-quality, timely communication with players, coaches, and partners
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in
customer or tournament support
, preferably in a
tech or sports environment - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with digital platforms, dashboards, and analytics tools
- Ability to multitask under pressure, especially during live events
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends during tournaments
Bonus Points
- Experience in golf, sports data, or event operations
- Familiarity with CRM or ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom)
- Understanding of mobile and web-based sports platforms
