Role Objective

The B2B Sales Manager will drive business growth through corporate, distributor, and institutional partnerships. The role demands strategic thinking, strong relationship management, and execution excellence to expand Jovaki Agro Food India's footprint in the agro-food sector.

Detailed Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new B2B clients across distributors, wholesalers, and HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes).
  • Explore untapped markets and design entry strategies for regional and national expansion.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and market intelligence to identify trends and opportunities.

2. Sales Planning & Execution

  • Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Achieve revenue, margin, and volume targets through structured sales pipelines.
  • Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and contracts to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor sales funnel performance and conversion ratios.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships with key accounts.
  • Conduct regular client reviews, feedback sessions, and joint business planning.
  • Resolve client issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction and retention.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with logistics for timely deliveries and supply chain efficiency.
  • Work with accounts/finance for invoicing, collections, and credit control.
  • Partner with marketing to design campaigns, trade promotions, and product launches.

5. Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare KPI-driven MIS reports for management review.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM tools.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and statutory requirements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets
  • Growth in new client acquisition and retention rate
  • Market share expansion in target regions
  • Customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS)
  • Accuracy and timeliness of MIS reporting
  • Contribution to cross-functional efficiency and collaboration

Education: MBA/PGDM in Sales/Marketing or equivalent qualification

Experience: 4–7 years in B2B Sales, preferably in Frozen food category, FMCG, Agro-Food.
