Title: Cloud & DevOps Lead

Experience: 4-7 years

Location: Pune

Reports to : CTO / Head of Infrastructure

  • Bachelors / master's in computer science, IT or equivalent.

  • 5-7 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud operations, specifically AWS.

  • Strong hands-on AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM).

  • Solid experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins / GitLab CI / GitHub Actions or similar).

  • Proficiency with containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes / EKS).

  • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) & scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).

  • Good understanding of monitoring / logging / alerting tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Datadog, Prometheus etc.).

  • Strong leadership & communication skills: leading teams, mentoring, stakeholder interactions

  • Problem solving mindset; ability to lead post-mortem, incident management, performance tuning

  • Lead & mentor a team of DevOps / Cloud Engineers; set technical direction, conduct code / infra reviews, guide team decisions.

  • Design, implement, maintain CI/CD pipelines (build, release, rollback, monitoring).

  • Architecture & management of AWS cloud infrastructure: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation or Terraform etc.

  • Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

  • Ensure high availability, reliability, scalability & performance of services; define and monitor SLIs / SLOs.

  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, lead root cause analysis & corrective actions.

  • Automate manual tasks; improve deployment frequency, reduce errors.

  • Collaborate with development, QA, security teams to align on cloud best practices, cost optimizations, security/compliance.

  • Stay updated on cloud / DeVos tools & best practices; introduce/process improvements in team workflows.
