Position: Tech Lead Python Full Stack

Experience : 8 to 10 Years

Location : Pune - Hybrid

We are looking for a Tech Lead (Full Stack – Angular & Django/Python) to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications. This role demands strong frontend leadership in Angular and backend expertise in Python/Django with PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will drive architectural decisions, mentor developers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, performance, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

Lead the full-stack development efforts across Angular (frontend) and Django/Python (backend) teams.

Define technical architecture, design patterns, and coding standards for scalable, maintainable applications.

Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices across the development lifecycle.

Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and QA to deliver high-quality features on time. Frontend (Angular):

Architect and build responsive, modular, and high-performance SPAs using Angular (v14+ preferred).

Implement state management using NgRx or RxJS observables for predictable, scalable applications.

Work on performance optimization, lazy loading, component-based design, and cross-browser compatibility.

Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring efficient data flow and UI consistency. Backend (Python/Django):

Design and develop robust backend services using Django and Django REST Framework (DRF).

Implement scalable APIs, authentication/authorization (JWT/OAuth2), and role-based access control.

Optimize database queries and schema design for PostgreSQL to ensure performance and data integrity.

Integrate with third-party APIs, data services, and internal microservices.

Develop asynchronous tasks, scheduled jobs, and event-driven workflows using Celery/RabbitMQ. DevOps & Delivery:

Oversee CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.

Containerize services using Docker and manage deployments on AWS / Azure / GCP environments.

Implement logging, tracing, and monitoring using ELK / OpenTelemetry stacks. Team Collaboration & Mentorship:

Mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering skill growth and technical excellence.

Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and estimation sessions in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of overall software development experience, including 2+ years in a technical lead capacity.

Strong proficiency in Angular (v12+), TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Proven expertise in Python (3.x), Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF).

Solid experience in PostgreSQL — including database schema design, stored procedures, and performance optimization.

Experience with RESTful and GraphQL API design and integration.

Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Git.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, unit testing (PyTest/Jasmine/Karma), and code quality tools (SonarCloud/Fortify).

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound architectural decisions under time constraints.

Strong communication and leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and guiding development teams. Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Experience with Celery, Redis, or RabbitMQ for background processing.

Exposure to GraphQL APIs, FastAPI, or Flask.

Knowledge of ReactJS or VueJS is an added advantage.

Hands-on with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.

Understanding of secure coding practices, OAuth2, and RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
