Opportunity – Banking & Finance Lawyer | Tier 1 Law Firm

Role Highlights:
  • Structured Finance & Lending: Advice on structured finance, syndicated lending, project finance, acquisition finance, external commercial borrowings, and complex debt transactions.
  • Banking & Finance Transactions: Act for banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, funds, and corporates across a wide range of financing and refinancing mandates.
  • Documentation & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, debenture documentation, security documents, inter-creditor agreements, and other transaction-related contracts.
  • Restructuring & Insolvency: Provide advice on debt restructuring, stressed asset resolution, and matters relating to the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
  • Regulatory Advisory: Offer guidance on RBI, FEMA, SEBI and other regulatory aspects of financing transactions.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with Partners, internal teams, and external advisors to deliver practical and commercially viable legal solutions.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed legal and financial research on financing structures, market practices, and evolving regulations, and provide actionable insights.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Lawyer with 3–9 years of PQE (batch years approx. 2016–2021), open to hiring at Associate, Senior Associate, and Principal Associate levels.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with demonstrable experience in Banking & Finance transactions.
  • Educational background: LLB from a reputed law school.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex, high-value transactions independently.
  • Prior experience with a leading law firm in Banking & Finance is strongly preferred.
