Job Description: GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Executive
Location: 16/2, Block 16, Ashok Nagar, New Delhi, Delhi, Near By Tilak Nagar Metro Station Gate No.3)
Experience: 1-3 years (preferred in GeM portal handling, government tenders, bidding & e-procurement)
Qualification: Graduate (any discipline); preference for candidates with knowledge of procurement, sales, or e-commerce platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities :-
- Create, update, and manage company profile on the GeM portal.
- Upload and list products/services with correct specifications, pricing, and compliance documents.
- Handle bid work identify relevant tenders, prepare bid documents, submit bids, and track their status.
- Ensure timely participation in direct purchase, bidding, reverse auction, and BOQ-based tenders on GeM.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, accounts, operations) to prepare technical and financial details required for bidding.
- Process purchase orders received through GeM and ensure timely delivery & invoicing.
- Follow up on payments and resolve issues with buyers through the portal.
- Maintain proper records of bids submitted, orders won/lost, and contracts executed.
- Regularly monitor GeM notifications, circulars, and policy changes.
- Prepare MIS reports on bids, orders, and sales performance.
Skills Required for GeM Profile (with Bid Work)
- GeM Portal Expertise hands-on experience in product listing, catalog management, and portal operations.
- Bid Management Skills ability to identify tenders, prepare and submit bids, participate in reverse auctions, and track bid outcomes.
- Government Procurement Knowledge understanding of tendering process, eligibility, compliance, and contract rules.
- Documentation & Compliance strong in preparing technical/financial bid documents, uploading certificates, GST, PAN, etc.
- Analytical Skills ability to analyze tender requirements and prepare competitive pricing.
- MS Office Proficiency – Excel (for MIS reporting), Word, PDF handling.
- Communication & Coordination – liaising with internal teams (accounts, operations, sales) and external government officials.
- Negotiation Skills – handling buyer communications and order clarifications.
- Time Management – ability to meet strict bid deadlines and manage multiple tenders at once.
- Problem-Solving – resolving portal-related issues, payment delays, and buyer queries.
