Key responsibilities
- Product and Raw Material Inspection: Conduct routine inspections and tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Quality System Support: Assist in the implementation and monitoring of quality control systems, including adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain various quality-related documents, such as inspection records, reports, Certificates of Analysis (CoA), and logbooks.
- Deviation and Defect Management: Analyze product defects and process deviations, identify root causes, and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Compliance: Ensure all production and quality activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as production, to address quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Audits: Support internal and external audits, including preparing for audits and helping to resolve findings.
- Training: Assist in training production staff on quality standards and procedures.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Food Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
