Job description
Roles & Responsibilities:
Manufacture new plastic injection moulds and press tool dies as per design and drawing.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of tools; identify and replace worn-out parts.
Assemble components of the tool/die with precise fitting and tolerance control.
Operate tool room machines like milling, surface grinding, drilling, EDM/WEDM, lathe, and CNC as required.
Check individual tool parts using precision instruments (micrometer, height gauge, dial gauge, etc.) to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Assist in mould/die trials and correct tool-related issues arising during production.
Maintain tool history records, service logs, and tool modification reports.
Provide feedback to design and production teams for tool improvements and productivity enhancement.
Follow all tool room safety protocols and contribute to 5S and TPM activities.
Required Skills:
Proficient in reading and interpreting 2D/3D tool drawings and GD&T symbols.
Skilled in using hand tools and measuring instruments.
Hands-on experience with tool room machinery (CNC, EDM, surface grinding, etc.).
Understanding of tool steels, heat treatment, and die life cycle.
Basic understanding of plastic flow and die casting behaviour.
Exposure to mould flow analysis or die simulation software (preferred).
Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and precision working.
Salary :- Rs. 15,000/- to Rs 22,000/- per month
Experience - 2 to 3 Years
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15, ₹22,000.00 per month
