About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on
Growth Lead – E-commerce & Q-commerce
to build and scale our online revenue channels across leading marketplaces and quick-commerce platforms. This role will take full ownership of sales performance, platform relationships, campaign execution, and P&L management for the channel. The ideal candidate combines strong execution capability with commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace & Q-commerce Operations
Own end-to-end operations across Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Instamart, Zepto, and other relevant platforms
- Act as the primary point of contact with category managers and platform account teams
- Drive visibility, promotions, and brand placements through structured negotiations
Ensure continuous optimisation of listings, pricing, content, and stock availability
P&L Ownership & Commercial Performance
Own full channel P&L including revenue, margins, commissions, marketing spends, and returns
- Drive profitable growth through sharp control on discounts, spends, and cost structures
Prepare and present periodic sales, margin, and performance reports to leadership
Growth & Sales Strategy
Plan and execute monthly and quarterly growth initiatives including brand days, festive events, and platform campaigns
- Identify category-level and SKU-level expansion opportunities
Track competitive activity and marketplace trends to continuously refine strategy
Performance & Data Analytics
Monitor weekly sales, conversion rates, search performance, and customer metrics
- Use data to optimise pricing, inventory deployment, and ad spends
Work closely with planning teams for demand forecasting and supply alignment
Cross-functional Execution
Partner closely with supply chain, finance, marketing, catalogue, and operations teams
- Ensure accuracy of catalogue, quality of content, and overall product discoverability
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for seamless fulfilment and stock availability
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing marketplace businesses (Amazon/Flipkart/Q-commerce)
- Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms, advertising platforms, and category mechanics
- Proven ability to scale revenue while managing margins and P&L ownership
- High analytical ability with strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and marketplace dashboards
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and execution skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
