Growth & Marketing Lead

As Growth & Product Marketing Lead, you will be at the intersection of product, marketing, data, and compliance — owning our go-to-market strategy and the performance of key growth channels. You will be responsible for translating complex financial products into market-ready narratives, building scalable acquisition programs, and optimizing lifecycle touchpoints to drive user value. This is a leadership role ideal for someone who has built and scaled fintech products, understands the regulatory landscape, and thrives in a high-growth environment where trust, compliance, and innovation intersect.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth Leadership:
- Develop and lead the overall growth strategy — across paid, organic, referral, and partnership channels — to scale customer acquisition and revenue.
- Own customer segmentation and targeting strategies aligned with business objectives and product roadmap.
- Identify, test, and scale new acquisition channels and growth loops unique to financial products.
Product Marketing Strategy:
- Lead positioning and messaging across all products — ensuring clarity, differentiation, and trust in a competitive fintech landscape.
- Drive go-to-market strategy for new feature and product launches in partnership with Product, Legal, and Compliance teams.
- Translate technical features into user-centric benefits with tailored messaging for different customer personas.
Lifecycle & Retention:
- Oversee full-funnel marketing, from awareness to onboarding, activation, and retention.
- Build and scale lifecycle campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging using segmentation and personalization strategies.
- Partner with Product teams to improve user journeys and increase LTV.
Data & Performance Ownership:
- Define and report on KPIs including CAC, LTV, activation rate, retention, ARPU, and payback period.
- Set up marketing attribution models and experimentation frameworks to guide decision-making.
- Own budget planning, forecasting, and ROI optimization across channels.
Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team (or external agencies/freelancers) across performance marketing, content, and lifecycle.
- Act as a senior partner to Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Analytics to ensure alignment and delivery of cross-functional priorities.
- Represent the voice of the customer across internal teams, influencing product development and company strategy.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in growth and/or product marketing, with 5+ years in fintech, banking, crypto, or financial services.
- Proven success owning go-to-market strategy and scaling user growth for a complex, regulated product.
- Deep understanding of financial product marketing, trust-building, and customer education.
- Strong analytical background: comfortable with SQL or BI tools; understands funnel metrics, LTV/CAC dynamics, and attribution modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence at the leadership level.
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills — equally comfortable with brand messaging and performance marketing.
- Experience in building or leading marketing teams, either in a startup or scale-up environment.
- Deep understanding of the regulatory environment in fintech (e.g., KYC/AML, disclosures, compliance requirements for financial promotions).
Nice to Have
- Experience with international expansion or launching fintech products across multiple markets.
- Background in a fintech sub-vertical (payments, wealth management, digital banking, or crypto).
- Strong network in the fintech ecosystem (partners, media, regulators, influencers).
