A junior brand marketing person focuses on supporting brand managers by conducting market research, assisting with campaign planning and execution, creating content, and collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to build and maintain brand awareness and engagement. Key responsibilities often include monitoring competitors and market trends, analyzing campaign performance, managing administrative tasks like budgets and contracts, and ensuring brand messaging aligns with company strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research on brands, competitors, and consumer preferences to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Campaign Support: Assist senior marketers in developing and executing marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Content Creation: Help create marketing materials such as social media posts, blog articles, promotional emails, and website content.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., digital, creative, sales) and external agencies to ensure brand initiatives are integrated and consistent.
  • Brand Management: Support the development and refinement of brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity.
  • Performance Monitoring: Help track and analyze brand performance metrics, including brand awareness, market share, and customer perception.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage marketing budgets, handle contracts, and provide general administrative support for the brand team.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for creating persuasive copy and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of brand management principles, marketing strategies, digital marketing, and market research.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze marketing data and metrics to assess campaign effectiveness.
  • Creativity and Innovation: A passion for developing creative solutions and innovative marketing approaches.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects and administrative tasks effectively.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with different teams and external partners.
  • Educational Background: A degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Must have Google or Linkedin certification in Brand Marketing. Digital Marketing certificate is optional but likely good.
  • Atleast three skills are mandatory like Brand activation, management, positioning
