Role & responsibilities

  • Sales Success:

  • Identify and build up sales opportunities with target customers / industries to increase sales in India significantly.

  • Actively follow-up projects from beginning until signature of the contract incl. negotiation and contract review.

  • Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth in the market.

  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

  • Team Leadership:

  • Providing guidance and support to enhance the teams performance.

  • Set clear sales targets and monitor team progress, ensuring accountability and motivation.

  • Product Development Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product development and engineering teams to align offerings with market needs and drive innovation.
  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the industrial sheet metal processing sector.

  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Product Knowledge:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the machines and services, ensuring the team can effectively communicate product benefits and features.

  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to stay updated on product developments and innovations.

  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management, analyzing performance metrics and recommending improvements.

  • Utilize CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.

  • Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential areas for growth.

  • Attend industry trade shows and conferences to network and promote the companys products.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development and sales experience in within the industrial machinery or manufacturing sector, with a focus on sheet metal processing preferred.
  • Strong understanding of industrial processes, technologies, and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
