Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Team Lead – Sales who will not only drive individual revenue through high-impact sales but also lead, mentor, and scale a growing team of Business Development Managers.

You'll be hands-on in closing deals, running strategic demos, and also guiding your team to achieve their targets, improve pitch quality, and build a strong outbound engine.

You will be directly responsible for revenue, sales performance, and team productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Business Development Managers.
  • Set monthly/quarterly revenue targets and ensure consistent achievement.
  • Conduct daily pipeline reviews, performance check-ins, and deal clinics.
  • Coach team members on demos, negotiation, pitch structure, and prospecting.
  • Build a high-performance sales culture driven by accountability and results.

  • Hands-On Sales & Closures

  • Own a personal revenue quota and close mid-to-large deals.
  • Conduct high-stakes product demos with marketing heads, founders, and decision-makers.
  • Customize pitch decks and demo flows based on client use cases.
  • Guide prospects from outreach to negotiation and closure.

  • Sales Strategy & Process

  • Optimize the complete sales cycle — prospecting, demoing, follow-ups, closure.
  • Identify process gaps and implement best practices for conversions.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and improve demos.
  • Own reporting: pipeline metrics, forecast accuracy, and conversion tracking.

  • 4. Client Relationships

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensure seamless experience in collaboration with account management.
  • Gather market intelligence and share insights to improve sales strategy.
Must Haves
  • 3–6 years of experience in B2B sales, SaaS sales, mar-tech, or influencer marketing.
  • Experience leading or mentoring a small team (even informal leadership qualifies).
  • Strong ability to run powerful product demos and close high-value deals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Familiarity with sales tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Workspace, and Zoom.
