Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Business Opportunity Identification
- Identify new business opportunities across global markets in
Water, Wastewater, and Renewable Energy
. - Conduct market research, SWOT analysis, and competitor mapping to support expansion.
- Strategic Planning & Market Development
- Develop individual business plans for each target country in collaboration with Regional/ Country Managers.
- Execute plans for market entry and establishing WOG in new geographies.
- Formulate pricing strategies aligned with customer budgets, procurement methods, and internal policies.
- Client & Partner Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Lead detailed engagement with leads to drive conversions and long-term partnerships.
- Represent WOG in
client meetings, technical discussions, and industry events
alongside or on behalf of the CEO. - Pre-Qualification & Tender Management
- Collaborate with consultants and client representatives for
Pre-Qualification (PQ)
processes and technical specification approvals. - Deliver impactful
technical presentations
to consultants, prospective customers, and decision-makers to ensure inquiries are issued in WOG's favor. - Coordination & Communication
- Work in close coordination with overseas BD/Marketing teams to ensure seamless information flow.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (Process, Proposal, Engineering, Project Delivery) for business alignment.
- Marketing & Intelligence
- Conduct research and analyze data to define target audiences and industry trends.
- Devising innovative ideas, strategies, and campaigns to expand WOG's footprint.
- Compile and distribute financial, statistical, and strategic reports for leadership decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of proven experience
in
Business Development for Water, Wastewater, and Renewable Energy projects
at a global scale. - Strong technical knowledge of
WTP, WWTP, RO, ZLD, Desalination, and Renewable Energy solutions
. - Experience in developing pricing strategies, preparing tenders, and handling large EPC/DBO/BOOT projects.
- International business exposure and ability to navigate diverse cultural, regulatory, and business environments.

- Analytical mindset with ability to translate research into business opportunities.
- Entrepreneurial approach with ability to build markets from scratch.

- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital platforms.
