Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Civil Estimation & Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge in rate analysis, estimation, and project planning, along with a good understanding of market rates for materials and labour. The role requires analytical precision, clear communication, and the ability to prepare L1 level schedules to support project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed rate analysis for civil works including concrete, masonry, finishing, and structural activities.
  • Perform cost estimation for projects based on drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Maintain and update market rate databases for materials, equipment, and labour resources.
  • Evaluate vendor quotations and assist in cost comparisons and negotiations.
  • Prepare and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and assist in tender submissions.
  • Coordinate with procurement, design, and execution teams to ensure cost and plan alignment.
  • Develop and monitor L1 level project schedules and assist in progress tracking.
  • Support value engineering initiatives and identify cost optimization opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and site teams for estimation and planning-related inputs.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • 57 years of experience in civil estimation, planning, or cost control within construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of rate analysis, quantity take-offs, and market rate fluctuations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and estimation tools (e.g., Candy, Primavera, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling multiple estimates simultaneously.
