About the role:
This role will oversee daily logistics operations, coordinating with DCs, 3PL teams, vendors, and transporters to ensure on-time dispatches, stock accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include route planning, vehicle utilization, shipment creation, e-way bills, POD tracking, and process optimization. The role ensures compliance with safety, quality, and contract standards while addressing delivery escalations and improving efficiency. This position directly supports operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
Roles and Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:
- Daily Coordination and Operations Management:
- Collaborate with Distribution Centers (DCs) and 3PL teams to oversee daily warehouse operations, order tracking, and transportation activities.
- Ensure timely dispatches, maintain stock hygiene, and verify order accuracy.
- Customer Escalation Management:
- Address and resolve escalations related to customer deliveries, ensuring high satisfaction levels and adherence to delivery expectations.
- Operational Reporting and KPI Management:
- Maintain operational reports in coordination with DCs, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to the Regional Distribution Manager (RDM).
- Safety and Quality Compliance:
- Monitor adherence to safety and quality protocols, fostering a zero-incident operational environment.
- Vendor and Transporter Coordination:
- Work closely with vendors and transporters to optimize operations and improve service efficiency.
- Monitor contract validity, ensure license renewals, and streamline communication for smooth operations.
- Process Optimization:
- Identify and address inefficiencies in operational processes, suggesting improvements to enhance execution and service levels.
- Logistics and Documentation:
- Oversee route planning, vehicle utilization, shipment creation, and e-way bill generation.
- Track Proof of Delivery (POD) status and ensure monthly POD reconciliation.
- Facilitate timely freight payments based on 100% acknowledgment
- Customer Order management O2C process
About You:
- Must have Bachelor's degree
- Experience – Over 3 years of experience required in logistic & warehousing including customer order management with Ecommerce & MT customer service knowledge, knowledge on licenses required for Frozen warehousing.
- Geographical knowledge, well versed with local language, SAP knowledge
- Good knowledge of Power point & Excel
