Reports To: General Manager – North America

Experience: 5–8 years (with minimum 3 years in B2B SaaS)

Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a reputed institute

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support lead generation and early-stage sales efforts in the North American market. This role will be part of a dynamic go-to-market team and collaborate closely with marketing, pre-sales, and delivery functions to build a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify sales leads through outbound prospecting, digital campaigns, social channels, SAP ecosystem, and events.
  • Research and identify target accounts and key stakeholders to develop tailored outreach strategies.
  • Schedule and conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs and align them with solution offerings.
  • Drive engagement through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and event follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns and account-based strategies.
  • Maintain detailed records of lead activities in CRM and ensure effective lead handoff to sales teams.
  • Create compelling messaging to articulate business value across key personas (including executive level).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales development processes and playbooks.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5–8 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or pre-sales—preferably in the North American B2B SaaS or IT services market.
  • Strong understanding of business processes (HR, Finance, Procure-to-Pay, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools for lead generation, CRM management, lead scoring, and digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills—verbal and written—with the ability to influence and engage decision-makers.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Industry knowledge in Manufacturing, Retail, Oil & Gas, or CPG is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work in shifts (to align with US time zones, if required).
