PART A - DESIRED TRAITS, PROFILE, RESPONSIBILITIES

Knowledge of Self (Industry, Product, Priorities)

a. Basic understanding of construction/project development lifecycle covering the evolution of project from conception, design, approvals, procurement & tendering & finally construction including various stages of construction (Internal training by Team Biltrax).

b. Understanding of roles of different organizations, their scope of work, responsibilities & deliverables (example - Developer, Contractor, Government Organisation, Consultant, etc) (Internal training by Team Biltrax)

c. Understanding of own Organisation's product & services portfolio & the advantages/value proposition of using their products/services for target Clients (Training by Client Team & Team Biltrax)

d. Having absolute clarity on which are the preferred project types, the geographies, the right time to pitch for an opportunity along with the right professional in the relevant target organization (example - Developer, Contractor, Government Organisation, Consultant, etc) (Training by Team Client & Team Biltrax)

Deep Understanding & Application of Biltrax Platform

a. Understanding of various modules on Biltrax platform covering all major modules - Projects, Companies, Professionals, Tenders, Contracts, Products, etc Search, Profiles, Analytics, Technical Documents, etc & how these relate to Client business & product portfolio

b. Ability to create a priority list of Projects, Companies (Architects, Developers, Owners, Government Organisations, Other Influencers, etc)

Process Design & Behavioral Aspects

a. Gain an understanding of leaders within the organization who would be using this data, their specific use cases, their work methodologies (example - Head - Marketing, Specifications, Sales, Strategy, Technology/CRM, Regional Sales Heads, etc depending on the organizational hierarchy)

b. Build positive relationships, have communication lines open & get buy-ins with/from these key professionals in your organization so that the right influence & access is created for implementing this structured data & analytics approach within the organization

c. The leadership team is to actively participate & support these initiatives & encourage these young analysts in executing this strategy

Key Activities/Examples of Support

a. Pro-actively connect with each Regional Head/Key Team Members at a predetermined schedule on a weekly/bi-weekly basis for a 30-45 minutes 'Market Intelligence Discussion' session. Example - Monday with North India Team, Tuesday for South India Team, Wednesday for East/North-East India Team, Thursday for West India Team & Friday for Central India Team. The same discussions shall apply to working with Marketing, Strategy, Management Team Members

b. During this session, following to be highlighted by BX Analyst -

  1. Present/highlight key new projects (up to discovered by Team Biltrax during the past week covering the respective geographies, both public/private sector, status-wise, etc

  2. Top Companies (Developers, Owners, Architects, Consultants, etc) appointed for these projects

  3. Technical Specifications/List of Makes, etc for these Projects with a comment on where Client product is specified (For Public Sector)

  4. Resolving/Noting down queries posted by Regional Teams in terms of specific project updates, contact information of key professionals, etc. These are to be sourced either from Biltrax platform or resolved with Biltrax Analysts on a periodic basis

Key Activities/Examples of Support

  1. Send periodic emails to regional heads sharing new leads from their geography & following up with them periodically in terms of whether they received the email/data set & if they have any queries/feedback regarding the same

  2. Share Client Team feedback with Biltrax Team periodically so that we all can work in unison

  3. Be aware of the itinerary of sales team members & provide customized analysis to support their travel, meeting initiatives with prospective Clients.

Example - If a sales team member is traveling to Ahmedabad, the analyst shall in advance analyze the recent information about Ahmedabad & ensure that the sales team member is aware of the top Clients, Consultants, etc & is able to set up meetings with them. Provide information to sales team about projects, companies to visit in a particular micro-market

  1. Email printable report of projects, companies, etc to sales team members so that they are not hassled by these things

  2. Become the 'GPS' of sales teams guiding them at every step using Biltrax platform

  3. Working closely with Client Team (Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Management) & Biltrax Team (Director, Head of Client Engagement, Head of Data & Processes, Other Analysts. Participate in periodic reviews (Bi-weekly/Monthly) with Client Management Team along with Head of Client Engagement from Biltrax

  4. Other Traits ●
