Job Purpose: An Area Manager B2B oversees the sales operations and market penetration specifically targeting non-trade sectors, such as institutional clients and key projects, within designated territories, wherein responsibilities include establishing and nurturing a robust network of stockists, retailers, and institutional sales coordinators to boost sales volume, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in purchase departments and project management, ensuring timely order placement and delivery.
Job Responsibilities: Sales Targets and Performance Tracking Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule, contributing to the overall success of the non-trade sales team. Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends, continuously improving through feedback and personal development. Sales Reporting and Administration Document all sales activities, including client visits, sales transactions, and client feedback, in the company's CRM system or sales database. Prepare regular sales reports detailing achievements, challenges, and potential opportunities for growth. Collaboration and Teamwork Coordinate with Technical Service Engineers to provide technical advice and support to clients when necessary. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to align with the company's sales methodologies and standards. Organizational Skills Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of departmental objectives and projects. Implement best practices in workflow management to reduce bottlenecks and improve output quality. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities and demands with agility. Transparency in Operations Foster a culture of openness by sharing information transparently with team members and stakeholders. Establish clear accountability mechanisms to track performance and decision-making within the department. Document and communicate decision-making processes and rationales to ensure clarity and understanding.
