Introduction:

The research & technical consultancy projects and skill development opportunities from Government & industries are showing signs of tremendous growth potential. To market & coordinate effectively with the Industries, Government agencies, faculty, project team and students, an experienced & dynamic Head for Program Management is required. As it is an important leadership role, he/she needs to have ownership and responsibilities to achieve both short-term and long-term targets of KCIRI aligning with vision of KCT.

Role:


• Creating industrially specific undergraduate and postgraduate academic programs to create pipelines of talented students equipped with the hands-on skills needed for the current and future industries.


• Following up opportunities & requirements for submission of program proposals to Government through active and effective industry partnerships.


• Coordinating with various national & international agencies and Universities for collaboration & accreditation of multiple programs.


• Interfacing between the Management, Academic Departments, Faculty, Students and KCIRI technical team for effective synergy across the institution for execution of the programs and projects.


• Perform periodic review of program progress and reporting of status to the management and industry partners.

Responsibility:


• Preparation of program proposals & conducting programs adhering to institutional vision, industry requirements for imparting knowledge & experience on product development process and qualification standards to the students.


• Responsible for the successful execution of industry specific skill development & training programs in association with KCT faculty, projects and products development teams of KCIRI.


• Monitor & control the progress of KCIRI programs by periodic reviews and effectively coordinate with all internal & external stakeholders.


• Developing growth strategies and plans for KCIRI programs


• Building, managing and retaining relationships with Industry partners and Government agencies.

Educational Qualification:

Engineering Graduate in any discipline preferably with Post Graduation

Experience & Skills:


• More than 20 years of experience in Academic/ Industry Training programs, Program Management with planning, Time & Resource management skills


• Exposure to Analysis, Process improvement and Project Management tools


• Excellent writing skills, ability to prepare and edit documents / project reports.


• Good interpersonal skills
