Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) at Zuvy, you will lead business expansion across 2–3 assigned districts, managing a network of 15–20 Field Sales & Marketing Executives (FSMEs) per district. Your role will involve recruiting, training, and monitoring field teams, driving merchant onboarding, and ensuring achievement of revenue and growth targets for your region.
Key Responsibilities
Team Recruitment & Management:
- Recruit, onboard, and train 15–20 field agents (FSMEs) in each district under your supervision.
- Plan daily activities, assign sales targets, and monitor performance metrics of your team.
- Motivate, guide, and support the team to ensure consistent performance and productivity.
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive Zuvy's business operations and merchant acquisition in your assigned districts.
- Develop and execute local market strategies to maximize visibility and sales growth.
- Ensure targets are met across all product verticals — advertising, SaaS, and service modules.
Training & Performance Monitoring:
- Conduct weekly and monthly training sessions to enhance sales and product knowledge.
- Review daily reports from FSMEs and track performance using CRM tools.
- Identify potential challenges in the field and take corrective actions proactively.
Market Expansion & Brand Visibility:
- Strengthen brand presence through partnerships, local promotions, and merchant engagement.
- Collect market feedback, competitor insights, and report them to the Regional Manager.
- Ensure Zuvy's products and services reach every town and business hub within your districts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 4–7 years of experience in Field Sales, Channel Sales, or Business Development.
- Prior experience in managing large field teams (minimum 10–20 members).
- Strong communication, team leadership, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple districts effectively.
- Fluency in local/regional language is mandatory.
