Role Overview
We are looking for a Channel Sales Manager to drive sales and distribution for our frozen food portfolio (ready-to-eat snacks & vegetables) across traditional trade, modern trade, HORECA and institutional channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Appoint, manage and grow distributors/stockists in assigned territories.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets (primary & secondary).
- Drive distribution expansion and active outlets; improve in-store availability & visibility.
- Plan & execute trade promotions, schemes and channel-wise sales strategies.
- Oversee order-to-cash cycle, stock replenishment, billing and distributor ROI/margins.
- Ensure retail execution: planogram adherence, FIFO, freezer hygiene & temperature compliance.
- Track sales performance, inventory, fill rates and provide weekly/monthly reports.
- Use data to forecast demand and manage seasonal fluctuations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
- 3–8 years in FMCG channel sales, preferably frozen/chilled foods.
- Strong understanding of cold-chain logistics & frozen food retail operations.
- Proficient in MS Excel, CRM tools & sales reporting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation & distributor management skills.
- Target-driven, analytical, and willing to travel frequently.
