Role & responsibilities
- Manage job postings, screening, interviews, and technical assessment coordination.
- Hire skilled machine operators, CNC/VMC operators, heat-treatment staff, quality inspectors, and engineers.
- Workforce planning for machining,
- Identify skill gaps (CNC operation, heat treatment, gear hobbing/shaping).
- Training need Identifications Create yearly training calendars aligned with IATF / ISO requirements.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, Factories Act, Minimum Wages, Bonus Act, etc.
- Implement KPI/KRA-based performance systems.
- Conduct half-yearly and annual appraisal cycles.
- Handling Canteen Facility
- OHSAS Certifications and Internal Audit handling.
- Plan engagement activities, safety weeks, sports events, communication forums.
- Overtime control and leave management.
- Maintain HR MIS reports, dashboards, and documentation.
- Coordinate with production for daily manpower availability.
- Manage contractor compliance and liaise with government authorities.
- Maintain statutory registers, returns, and audit documents.
- Oversee payroll inputs, salary processing, and full & final settlements.
Preferred candidate profile
- 710 years manufacturing HR experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, OHSAS and 5S processes
- Experience with union or non-unionized workforce preferred
- Skill matrix development for operators
- HR Digitization (ERP, biometric, HRMS implementation)
