Role: Asst Manager - Land Acquisition

Role Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for exploring Wind Energy project sites, securing permits, and managing land acquisition processes for the parts of the state. This role demands coordination with site execution teams, coordinating legal matters, and ensuring compliance with state policies. 
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Explore renewable energy project belts, including potential large farms, set up in various states.
  • Secure permits and land acquisition for renewable energy projects.
  • Coordinate with project execution teams for land handover, access paths, local issues, right-of-ways, and policy matters.
  • Manage legal and local issues for the part of an assigned area in the state and project/s.
  • Ensure compliance with land acquisition norms, laws, and practices in the state.
  • Develop and maintain strong networks with government bodies to secure permits and land access.
  • Engage with local stakeholders to address and resolve project-related issues.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on land acquisition progress and challenges.
 
Required Experience:
  • Overall, 6+ years of experience. Ideally, 2+ years in land acquisition, particularly for wind energy projects. Experience in multiple states preferred.
  • Good knowledge of land regulations and nodal agencies in the state.
  • Strong networking and coordination skills with government bodies and local stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to handle legal and local matters.
  • Willingness to travel.
