Role and ResponsibilitiesArch Staffing is seeking a Business Development Manager to oversee the growth of the PDU/IPDU department in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in data center business and consultant product knowledge about PDU and IPDU
- Be responsible for business development activities, including working with OEMs, Channel Partners, etc.
- Create development plans and forecast sales targets and growth projections
- Identify market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels
- Meet with existing and potential clients to build positive relationships
- Liaise with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies
- Prepare financial projections and sales targets
- Attend events such as exhibitions and conferences
- Prepare sales presentations and participate in sales meetings
- Produce reports for management
- Train business developers and sales colleagues
- Work in a client's business or in an office
- Develop a business development strategy focused on financial gain
- Arrange business development meetings with prospective clients
- Develop a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechatronics
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Proficiency in English
- Market knowledge
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills
- Data center business and consultant product knowledge about PDU and IPDU
- Sales and marketing strategies
