A Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) staff member is responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining cleanliness within the restaurant. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment to meet customer demands efficiently while upholding the restaurant's standards of service and quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the restaurant.
- Take customer orders in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide menu information, assist with special requests, and offer recommendations.
- Ensure that customers receive their orders accurately and promptly.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, offering solutions where appropriate.
- **Food Preparation**:

- Prepare food items according to standardized recipes and restaurant procedures.
- Ensure food is prepared and served to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas.
- Assist in assembling meal orders and packaging them for take-out or delivery.
- **Cleaning and Maintenance**:

- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as wiping tables, sweeping floors, and emptying trash.
- Ensure all equipment, utensils, and kitchen tools are sanitized and in working condition.
- Clean kitchen equipment and restock supplies as needed.
- **Cash Handling**:

- Operate the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
- Handle cash transactions, provide correct change, and process credit/debit card payments.
- Follow all procedures for cash handling and balancing the cash drawer.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work efficiently with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed accurately.
- Support new team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
- **Health & Safety**:

- Follow all food safety guidelines and health regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor food safety, including proper food storage and temperature control.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene standards, including personal hygiene, sanitization, and safe food handling practices.
- **Stock Management**:

- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, checking stock levels, and rotating products.
- Notify the manager or supervisor about low inventory and ensure stock is replenished in a timely manner.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior experience in the food service industry (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow directions and adhere to restaurant standards.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent movement.

**Work Environment**:

- Typically, the work environment is indoors, with a focus on the kitchen and dining area.
- The environment can be noisy and fast-paced, especially during peak hours.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
