Job Title: Lead Generation & Appointment Generation Specialist
Department: Sales / Business Development
Location: Kharadi, Pune
Reports to: Manager
Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation:
- Identify and research potential leads and business opportunities within the B2B sector.
- Develop and maintain a steady stream of qualified leads by researching industries, companies, and decision-makers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitors, and industry news to enhance lead quality.
2. Appointment Scheduling:
- Qualify leads based on specific criteria (e.g., budget, decision-making authority, timeline) and move qualified leads through the sales funnel.
- Set up meetings, presentations, or product demos between leads and appropriate sales team members.
- Keep track of appointments and follow up to ensure meetings are attended.
3. Lead Nurturing:
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential leads, even if they are not immediately ready to buy.
- Provide timely follow-ups and handle objections, ensuring leads stay warm for future conversion.
4. Reporting & CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate records of all lead generation and appointment-setting activities in the CRM system.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports on lead generation progress, appointment outcomes, and pipeline health.
- Continuously update and clean the CRM to ensure data accuracy.
5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align lead generation strategies and share insights on customer needs and preferences.
- Provide feedback to the sales team on the quality of appointments and leads generated.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in B2B lead generation and appointment setting, ideally within the same or similar industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for outreach and follow-up.
- Ability to quickly grasp industry knowledge and product offerings.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting KPIs.
- Knowledge of sales funnels, lead qualification processes, and sales conversion strategies.
- Ability to work independently, but also effectively collaborate within a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
