
Counter Sales Executive: Retail

We are looking for a friendly and energetic Counter Sales Executive to join our retail team. As a Counter Sales Executive, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers in selecting products, and driving sales at the counter. You will represent the brand, ensuring a positive customer experience and contributing to the overall success of the store.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Customer Service**: Greet customers warmly, assist them in selecting products based on their needs, and provide detailed product information.
- **Sales & Upselling**: Actively promote and sell products, meet sales targets, and suggest additional items that complement the customer’s purchases.
- **Product Knowledge**: Stay updated on product features, pricing, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.
- **Counter Management**: Ensure the counter is well-organized, stocked with products, and clean. Assist with product display and merchandising to attract customers.
- **Cash Handling**: Handle cash, process payments, and maintain accurate transaction records. Operate the POS system efficiently.
- **Customer Feedback**: Listen to customer concerns and feedback, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist with stock checks and ensure product availability at the counter. Alert the management team about low stock levels.
- **Promotions & Discounts**: Communicate current promotions, offers, and discounts to customers effectively, ensuring they are aware of available deals.
- **Customer Retention**: Build long-term relationships with customers through exceptional service, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or diploma in Retail Management, Sales, or a related field is a plus.
- **Experience**: 1-2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a counter or frontline sales role.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage customers and understand their needs.
- **Customer-Focused**: Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle challenging situations with a positive attitude.
- **Sales Skills**: Ability to meet sales targets, with a proactive approach to upselling and cross-selling products.
- **Organization Skills**: Ability to maintain an organized and efficient workspace, with attention to detail.
- **Appearance**: Professional appearance and a friendly demeanor, as you will be the face of the brand to customers.
- **Tech-Savvy**: Basic knowledge of POS systems and handling payment transactions.
**Additional Requirements**:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and manage physical tasks like stocking shelves or handling products.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
