**Job Description - Service Advisor (Automobile Industry)**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Handling & Service Consultation**:

- Greet customers and understand their vehicle service requirements.
- Explain service details, estimated costs, and timelines.
- Provide technical guidance and recommend necessary repairs.
- **Job Card Preparation & Vehicle Inspection**:

- Create job cards with complete details of service requirements.
- Conduct a preliminary inspection of the vehicle and note down issues.
- Ensure accurate documentation of customer complaints.
- **Service Coordination & Workflow Management**:

- Coordinate between customers, technicians, and the workshop team.
- Ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
- Communicate additional repair requirements to customers and take approvals.
- **Customer Updates & Follow-Ups**:

- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle.
- Handle inquiries related to service progress and estimated completion time.
- Follow up with customers for post-service feedback.
- **Quality Control & Vehicle Delivery**:

- Perform a final check on completed services before delivery.
- Ensure that all customer concerns are resolved before vehicle handover.
- Explain the work done and provide billing details to the customer.
- **Customer Satisfaction & Relationship Management**:

- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
- Promote value-added services, annual maintenance contracts, and service packages.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed service records and job card documentation.
- Prepare daily reports on service operations and customer concerns.

**Key Skills Required**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical knowledge of automobiles and service operations.
- Customer handling and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in MS Office and dealership management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering or relevant field.
- **Experience**: Minimum **2-3 years** in a similar role in the automobile industry.
