A Service Advisor acts as the liaison between the customer and the workshop. They are responsible for receiving vehicles, understanding customer concerns, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring a smooth and satisfactory service experience. Their key goal is to deliver excellent customer service while optimizing workshop productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Handling & Communication:

  • Greet customers and understand their vehicle concerns or service needs.
  • Advise customers on service options, costs, and timelines.
  • Explain recommended repairs and service procedures in a simple, understandable way.
  • Prepare job cards and maintain accurate customer information.

Job Estimation & Approvals:

  • Provide accurate cost estimates for repairs, services, and parts.
  • Obtain customer approval before proceeding with any additional work.
  • Coordinate with the parts department for availability and pricing.

Workshop Coordination:

  • Assign jobs to technicians based on the nature of the repair and technician skill level.
  • Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of work.
  • Update customers on job status, delays, or changes if any.

Quality Check & Delivery:

  • Perform a final check of the vehicle before delivery to ensure all jobs are completed.
  • Explain the work carried out, charges involved, and next service schedule to the customer.
  • Ensure proper handover of the vehicle with billing and documentation.

Customer Satisfaction & Feedback:

  • Handle customer complaints with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
  • Follow up after service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Encourage customers to complete feedback forms or online reviews.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain proper service records, job cards, invoices, and warranty claims.
  • Ensure all repairs and services comply with manufacturer standards.
  • Adhere to safety and cleanliness norms in the service area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18, ₹25,000.00 per month
