**Job Description**:
Position Overview: The Cook is a vital team member responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and standards. This position requires a combination of culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Food Preparation**:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure that all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- **Menu Adherence**:

- Follow established recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Communicate any variations or adjustments to the supervisor or kitchen management.
- **Kitchen Organization**:

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of ingredients, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment as needed.
- **Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen assistants, and management.
- **Quality Control**:

- Monitor food quality and freshness, discarding any items that do not meet standards.
- Conduct taste tests and visually inspect dishes before they are served.
- **Timeliness**:

- Adhere to established cooking times to ensure timely delivery of meals.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to manage the flow of orders during peak hours.
- **Adaptability**:

- Be flexible and able to adapt to changes in menu items, recipes, or special requests.
- Assist in catering to dietary restrictions or special meal requests.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Report any kitchen safety issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
- **Cleaning and Maintenance**:

- Participate in end-of-day cleaning routines, ensuring that all kitchen areas are sanitized and ready for the next day.
- Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of kitchen equipment.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changes in menu items and kitchen procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
