**Summary of Position**:
The Assistant Cook is responsible to assist the head cook or chef with a wide number of functions in the kitchen - menu planning, food preparation, sanitation, ingredients purchasing. The assistant cook will directly report to the head chef and will execute the orders.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Knowledge about food preparation
- Establish, implement and communicate menu recipe requirements.
- Keep the cooking area clean & hygienic
- Keep the cooking equipment clean
- Train & manage the kitchen support staff
- Prepare cooking ingredients
- Prepare dressings on salads and desserts
- Move the kitchen utensils wherever needed
- Follow & implement the kitchen safety regulations
- Perform the duties of the head chef in his/her absence
- Ability to take and understand orders implicitly
- Suggesting new recipes & interesting ideas for menu planning
- Good communication skills
- Should be a team player and coordinate with the kitchen team
- Should be physically fit & strong to for lifting heavy pots and pans

**Qualifications**:
S.S.C qualification is required.

**Experience**:
Experience is required.

**Salary**

Salary as per Industry standards
- Food and accommodation will be provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:
