**Job Title**: Continental Chef
**Location**: Bandra
**Reports To**: Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager

**Job Summary**

The Continental Chef is responsible for preparing a variety of continental dishes with a focus on authenticity, presentation, and taste. This role involves managing kitchen operations related to continental cuisine, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining food safety standards.

**Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation**
- Prepare, cook, and present continental dishes, including soups, salads, main courses, and desserts.
- Ensure dishes are prepared to customer specifications and meet the café’s quality standards.
- Experiment with and develop new recipes to enhance the menu.
- Adjust recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions or customer preferences.

**Kitchen Operations**
- Oversee the operations of the continental section of the kitchen.
- Manage inventory levels for continental ingredients and ensure timely replenishment.
- Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients used in preparation.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained and used safely and efficiently.

**Team Leadership**
- Train and supervise kitchen staff assigned to the continental section.
- Coordinate with other chefs to ensure smooth kitchen workflow during busy periods.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure timely food preparation and service.

**Food Safety and Hygiene**
- Ensure all dishes comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with kitchen safety standards.

**Customer Experience**
- Collaborate with the management team to create seasonal and special menus.
- Respond to customer feedback to improve food quality and offerings.
- Contribute to the overall dining experience with beautifully presented dishes.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Continental Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen.
- In-depth knowledge of continental cuisine, cooking techniques, and presentation styles.
- Culinary school certification or equivalent training (preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
