**Overview**: The Physical Education (P.T.) Teacher will be responsible for promoting physical fitness and encouraging healthy lifestyle habits among students in classes 6 to 8. This role involves developing engaging physical education programs, conducting sports and fitness activities, and fostering a positive attitude towards physical activity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Instructional Delivery**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials for physical education that cater to different skill levels and interests.
- Teach a variety of physical activities, including sports, fitness exercises, and recreational games.
- Instruct students in physical fitness, motor skills development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Assess and evaluate student performance in physical activities through observations, tests, and practical evaluations.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation.
- **Student Support**:

- Offer guidance and support to students to help them improve their physical skills and fitness levels.
- Create an encouraging and inclusive environment that motivates all students to participate and excel in physical activities.
- Address any individual needs or concerns related to physical health and fitness.
- **Program Development**:

- Develop and organize sports events, fitness programs, and physical education activities.
- Promote student participation in extracurricular sports and fitness programs.
- Stay updated with current trends in physical education and incorporate new ideas and practices into the curriculum.
- **Classroom and Facility Management**:

- Establish and enforce rules and procedures to ensure safety and proper conduct during physical activities.
- Manage and maintain sports equipment and facilities, ensuring they are in good condition and safe for use.
- Ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe and organized manner.
- **Professional Development**:

- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and training sessions to enhance teaching practices and stay current with educational trends.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to school-wide health and fitness initiatives.
- **Communication**:

- Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Provide regular updates to parents about their child’s participation and progress in physical education.
- Engage in parent-teacher conferences and other school-related events as required.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Requirements**:

- B.P.Ed. (Bachelor of Physical Education) or equivalent degree in Physical Education with a focus on sports and fitness.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience teaching physical education to middle school students.
- Familiarity with educational standards and assessment methods for physical education.
- **Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of physical education, sports, and fitness techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an engaging and supportive environment for physical activity.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- **Certification Requirements**:

- Profiles with Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Teacher Aptitude Test (TAT) are preferred and prioritized
