**Overview**: The Maths Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to students in classes 6 to 8. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, assessing student performance, and fostering a positive and effective learning environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Instructional Delivery**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
- Teach mathematics concepts, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and number theory, to students in classes 6 to 8.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, quizzes, assignments, and projects.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student grades and progress.
- **Student Support**:

- Offer additional support and tutoring to students who may be struggling with mathematical concepts.
- Encourage a growth mindset and a positive attitude towards learning mathematics.
- Create a classroom environment that is supportive, engaging, and conducive to learning.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the mathematics curriculum.
- Stay updated on current educational practices and incorporate new teaching strategies into the classroom.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to maintain an orderly and respectful learning environment.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and address any issues or disruptions promptly.
- **Professional Development**:

- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and training sessions to continuously improve teaching practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- **Communication**:

- Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Provide regular updates to parents about their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Engage in parent-teacher conferences and other school-related events as required.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Requirements**:

- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Mathematics with B.Ed. (or equivalent teaching qualification).
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience teaching mathematics to middle school students.
- Familiarity with educational standards and assessment methods for mathematics.
- **Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an engaging and effective learning environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Patience and the ability to motivate and support students.
- **Certification Requirements**:

- Profiles with Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or Teacher Aptitude Test (TAT) are preferred and prioritized
