**Job Summary**:
The Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) - Continental is responsible for managing and executing culinary operations within the continental section of the kitchen. The role includes preparing high-quality dishes, supervising junior staff, and ensuring consistent adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation & Cooking**:

- Prepare, cook, and present continental dishes as per standardized recipes and quality standards.
- Innovate and assist in the creation of new menu items in line with current trends.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented on time, maintaining portion control and plating standards.
- **Section Management**:

- Oversee the operations of the continental section during shifts, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Guide and supervise Commis chefs to maintain consistency in food preparation.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth operations.
- **Hygiene & Safety**:

- Ensure all kitchen operations adhere to food safety and HACCP standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, including equipment and storage.
- Monitor food storage, handling, and stock rotation to ensure freshness and prevent wastage.
- **Inventory & Supplies**:

- Assist in managing inventory levels for the continental section.
- Communicate stock requirements and shortages to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
- Ensure proper use of ingredients to minimize costs without compromising quality.
- **Team Collaboration & Training**:

- Work closely with the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Train and mentor junior staff in continental cuisine techniques and best practices.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages creativity and efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Diploma or certification in culinary arts or equivalent.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years specializing in continental cuisine.
- Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- In-depth knowledge of continental cuisine, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
- Familiarity with modern kitchen equipment and techniques.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
