Customer Service: Providing a welcoming and positive experience for visitors, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and potentially processing payments. Cleanliness & Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and tidy environment in the play area, including cleaning equipment, and ensuring the reception area is presentable. Basic Food Service (if applicable): Some soft play areas may require assisting with basic food service, such as taking orders or preparing simple snacks. Safety: Following health and safety procedures and ensuring the play area is a safe environment for children. Sales: Potentially assisting with maximizing sales opportunities, such as promoting memberships or parties. Skills and Qualities: Enthusiasm and Energy: A positive and outgoing attitude is essential for interacting with children and their parents. Excellent Communication Skills: Being able to communicate effectively with both children and adults is important. Customer Service Focus: A commitment to providing excellent customer service is crucial. Teamwork: The ability to work effectively as part of a team is important. Basic Hygiene Knowledge: Understanding basic food hygiene is helpful if the role involves food service. Physical Stamina: The role can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and potentially lift or carry equipment. Enhanced DBS (Desirable): An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check may be required for working with children.
