**Job Title: Academic Secretary**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Academic Leadership**: Provide strategic leadership in the development, review, and implementation of the academic curriculum, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and student needs.
- **Curriculum Development**: Lead the design and enhancement of academic programs across various disciplines, ensuring they are current, relevant, and rigorous.
- **Faculty Development**: Oversee faculty recruitment, training, and development to enhance teaching effectiveness, research capabilities, and academic support.
- **Quality Assurance**: Monitor and evaluate academic programs and teaching standards to ensure the institution meets or exceeds accreditation standards and academic benchmarks.
- **Policy & Procedure Implementation**: Develop and implement academic policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance with institutional, regional, and national regulations.
- **Student Support**: Ensure the delivery of quality student services, including academic advising, career counseling, and other support systems to help students achieve academic success.
- **Collaboration**: Foster collaboration across departments to ensure interdisciplinary learning and support effective communication and teamwork within the institution.
- **Performance Monitoring**: Regularly assess and improve the performance of academic programs, faculty, and students through data-driven decision-making.
- **External Relations**: Represent the academic department in discussions with external stakeholders, including accrediting bodies, government agencies, and industry partners.
- **Reporting & Analysis**: Prepare and present regular reports on academic performance, curriculum development, and faculty progress to senior management and stakeholders.

**Education**: M.Phil or Doctoral degree in any discipline from an accredited institution. (M.Ed or M.A (Edn) is desirable)

**Experience**: Minimum [8] years of experience in academic leadership roles, including previous experience as a department head, academic coordinator, or senior faculty member.

**Required Skills**:
