**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Spearheading civil procurement related operations with a view to achieve business objectives.
- Managing procurement related operations with a view to achieve bottom line profitability.
- Implementing key purchase / procurement strategies, contingency plans and ensuring that plans are aligned with operational requirements.
- Ensuring optimum inventory levels for achieving cost savings without hampering the process and preparing reports for the same.
- Developing long-term partnerships with suppliers; managing day-to-day supplier performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery and quality norms.
- Evaluating vendor performance to ensure adherence to predefined specifications & supply of quality material.
- Spearheading cost reduction initiatives consolidating tasks, eliminating non-value-added processes & complete re-engineering of processes and systems.
- Create and implement regional procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within the industry
- Build long-term relationships with vendors in the industry
- Compare proposals for price and specifications
- Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs
- Review contract specifications on behalf of the company
- Communicate with vendors to ensure that the product arrives in a timely fashion
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with critical suppliers
- Manage technological systems that track the shipment, inventory and supply of materials
- Lead transformation activities to build procurement organizational capabilities and improve procurement efficiency
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly procurement reports
- Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations
- Prior experience of 15-20 years in procurement in Real Estate sector or related industry.
- Knowledge of global sourcing and new methodologies in Procurement.
- Educational Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech-Any specialization
