Reporting To : Head Operations (GM)

Location : Hyderabad

Industry : Renowned Hospital Chain

Experience : Minimum 15+ years in hospital operations with at least 100+ bed size reputed hospital.

Education : Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Hospital or Healthcare Management preferred.

Role Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as AGM / DGM – Operations (Non-Medical). This position will act as the second-in-command to the Head of Operations and play a critical role in driving smooth, efficient, and patient-centric operations across the hospital.

The incumbent will ensure operational excellence in various non-medical functions such as OT management, Diagnostics, Patient Services, Support Services, and Facility Operations, while working closely with medical and non-medical teams.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support the Head of Operations in managing day-to-day hospital operations and service delivery.
  • Oversee functional areas such as OT, Diagnostics, Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Facility Management.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between clinical and non-clinical departments for superior patient experience.
  • Monitor compliance with hospital standards, SOPs, quality protocols, and statutory regulations.
  • Drive process improvement, cost optimization (without direct P&L accountability), and operational efficiency.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure smooth functioning of outsourced services.
  • Assist in manpower planning, rostering, and staff engagement initiatives to maintain high energy and service standards.
  • Support in audits, accreditations, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Act as a reliable backup to the Head of Operations in decision-making and escalations.
