**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lesson Planning and Instruction**:

- Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with the curriculum for higher secondary English.
- Teach advanced topics in English literature, including poetry, prose, drama, and literary criticism.
- Conduct classes on language skills such as grammar, essay writing, comprehension, and verbal communication.
- **Student Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Prepare and administer tests, quizzes, and exams to evaluate student progress.
- Grade assignments and exams, providing constructive feedback to help students improve.
- Prepare students for board examinations, focusing on exam patterns and time management techniques.
- **Student Development and Guidance**:

- Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and interpretation of literary texts.
- Provide individual support to students needing extra help in language and literary concepts.
- Mentor students on academic and career prospects, particularly in literature and language studies.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Assist in designing, reviewing, and updating the senior secondary English curriculum.
- Ensure that teaching materials meet educational standards and are relevant to contemporary topics.
- Suggest new readings, assignments, and projects that challenge students’ understanding and encourage deeper learning.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a positive learning environment by establishing clear expectations and rules.
- Ensure classroom discipline and effective management of student behavior.
- Promote a respectful and inclusive classroom culture.
- **Integration of Technology**:

- Use digital tools and resources, such as multimedia presentations and online learning platforms, to enhance teaching.
- Encourage students to use technology for research, presentations, and creative writing projects.
- **Extracurricular and Co-curricular Involvement**:

- Participate in or lead extracurricular activities such as literary clubs, debates, or drama societies.
- Organize and conduct workshops, field trips, or guest lectures related to English literature and language.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:

- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the English department and across other disciplines to support interdisciplinary learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.
- **Board Examination Preparation**:

- Provide guidance and coaching to students on preparing for the final board examinations.
- Analyze past board exam papers and help students understand the pattern, marking scheme, and key areas of focus.
- Conduct mock tests and provide strategies for improving performance in exams.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
