**About Commercial Excellence - Sales & Marketing Analytics**:
Our expert consulting CoEs optimize the marketing & sales strategy to drive profitable growth leveraging analytical techniques and solutions across a range of industries.
**We serve our clients in the following ways**:
- Energize, inform and optimize the Sales and Marketing efforts across the value chain - from sales prospecting, GTM design and strategy to account planning, management and profitability - by leveraging deep analytical tools and domain expertise to drive both topline and bottom line growth
- Identify and capture value by co-developing and delivering Pricing focused products across the value chain ranging from diagnostics to implementation and capability transfer
- Provide a view of potential upside value in a M&A transaction, via assessing target’s GTM performance and maturity on key capabilities
- Improve commercial performance via assessing their compensation design, and better alignment between cost & revenue functions
**Position Summary**:
- Brings to the table various cutting edge technologies and best practices involving advanced Analytics, ML modeling techniques and ETL of large data in a productized delivery model
- Works under the guidance of the COE Project Leader or Manager, playing a key role in driving the team’s overall strategy to develop product and capability to serve clients
- May manage 1-3 analysts and take responsibility for sharing information across workstreams
- Works with case teams across geographies and industries; however, they focus almost exclusively on Commercial Excellence related projects
- Ability to handle work streams independently within a case project along with other teams members
**Core Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Proactively provide technical inputs to the internal BCN teams
- Brainstorming with the Project Leader on various aspects of casework which ranges across multiple workstreams of data operations including data modeling, implementing algorithms ranging from regression models, Random forest, boosting techniques and product development etc.
- Identify and employ new and relevant data ETL sources, analytical and statistical tools, ML modeling techniques, database management techniques etc.
- Ability to drive conversations through analytics, including, but not limited to relationships between key variables, key customer clusters etc.
- Ensure timely, error-free research, analysis and output produced by the analysts
- Generate and screen realistic answers based on sound reality checks and recommend actionable solutions
- Communicate data and clearly explain insights and implications for the client to the entire team
- Effectively communicate with BCN or Bain case teams as per the need
- Share learning with new team members especially on technical front
**Qualification**:
skills. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Python and SQL is required. Proficiency in R, Alteryx, Tableau and exposure to cloud environments like AWS/Azure will be preferred.
