**Job Title**: Chef
**Location**: Beach Terrace, Injambakkam
**Job Type**: Full-Time
**Reports To**: Managing Director
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and restaurant standards
- Innovate and develop new menu items or specials that reflect the restaurant’s concept and customer preferences
- Ensure consistent presentation, taste, and quality of all dishes
- Supervise kitchen staff, assign duties, and ensure smooth execution during service
- Manage kitchen inventory, place supply orders, and minimize food wastage
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor food costs and contribute to meeting budget targets
- Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen team members
- Work closely with the Managing Director on menu planning and seasonal updates
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of global cuisines, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
