**Job Description**:
True Fit Gourmet Café is seeking a skilled and passionate Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) to join our culinary team at our Bandra location. As a DCDP, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing and delivering high-quality dishes that meet our standards of taste, presentation, and consistency. You will be responsible for overseeing specific sections of the kitchen and ensuring that all food items are prepared and plated according to established recipes and standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines set by the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
- Station Management: Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all ingredients are readily available, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of food orders.
- Menu Development: Contribute ideas for menu development, including new dishes and seasonal specials.
- Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures.
- Training and Development: Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff members as needed.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control, including stock rotation, ordering, and stocktaking.
- Customer Satisfaction: Consistently strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
Qualifications:
- Culinary Education: Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a reputable restaurant or café setting.
- Culinary Skills: Strong culinary skills with a focus on attention to detail, creativity, and passion for food.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive Attitude: Enthusiastic, proactive, and positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
- Knowledge: Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
