About Lemon Tree Hotel, Manali - Located at an elevation of 1,463 MT. above sea level, the hotel with over #34 rooms is strategically situated for a serene experience while still being close to the heart of the main town. With spectacular valleys, breathtaking views, snow-capped mountains and lush forests of oak, deodar, and pine, it is a haven for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. The hotel features vibrant interiors, seamless service, and a whiff of the signature lemon fragrance.

Span Motel Private Limited are in search of dynamic and seasoned Chief Operating Officer to spearhead the economic growth of the Span Resorts & Span and Lemon Tree Hotels Manali in the India Market.

**The deliverables**

**Strategic Planning and Vision Realization (30%)**:

- Strategically plan and ensure comprehensive understanding and execution of the company's vision, mission, and values.
- Drive both hotel business to achieve both short-term, medium, and long-term business plans.
- Develop a robust business strategy encompassing market analysis, expansion plans, people development, system and technology enhancements, and financial planning for short, medium, and long-term durations (5 years, 3 years, and current year), ensuring alignment with the Board and successful execution of the plan.

**Store Quality Excellence and People Development (30%)**:

- Uphold the highest standards of quality and promptly address any operational challenges at the front end.
- Provide coaching and hold leadership accountable for maintaining service quality standards.
- Cultivate strong managers and core leadership teams.
- Improve internal communication channels to foster a cohesive work environment.

**Guest Experience and Brand Communication (20%)**:

- Develops and implements strategies where key hotel metrics are identified, communicated, and delivered.
- Ensure consistently exceptional stay & dining experiences for guests, emphasizing food quality, exceptional service, and overall ambiance.
- Collect and analyze guest feedback to continuously enhance offerings and tailor them to guest preferences.
- Effectively convey and promote the resort & hotel concept and message to guests through various channels such as guest interactions, workshops, events, and promotional materials.

**Back Office Management (20%)**:

- Serve as a vital liaison between the hotel and the board office in New Delhi.
- Oversee back-office functions including procurement, administration, and human resources.
- Streamline and optimize operational processes to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered, and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.
- Works with key stakeholders, effectively manages and reviews the life cycle of the team within the hotel, fostering a culture of growth, development, and performance.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Three years as COO / Director Sales / Director Acquisition at luxury category hotel/resorts experience required.
- Five years, Sr. Hotel leadership (Vice President / General Manager) experience required at Global / Indian Hotel Chain in full-service environment required.
- MBA or Hotel Management from Premier Institute preferred.
- Proven leadership skills, high results oriented professional and able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees to ensure teamwork.
- High exposure to create a diverse and supportive work environment.
- Good office skills (office software)
- Can work independently, with a dynamic, positive attitude.
- Professional attitude and appearance
