We are seeking a Front Office Receptionist who shares our passion for guest satisfaction and is committed to providing each visitor with a warm, welcoming, and individualized experience.
**Job Summary**:
The Front Office Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests arriving at the hotel. This role is crucial in delivering personalized, high-quality service and ensuring that every guest has an unforgettable stay. The receptionist will manage check-ins/check-outs, handle guest inquiries, provide concierge services, and maintain a smooth front desk operation while upholding the intimate and inviting atmosphere of our boutique hotel.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Guest Service**:
- Provide a warm, personalized welcome to every guest, ensuring a memorable first impression.
- Engage with guests to understand their needs, preferences, and any special requests to enhance their stay.
- Assist guests with reservations, special requests, and any inquiries about hotel amenities and services.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring resolution with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- **Check-in/Check-out**:
- Efficiently process guest check-ins and check-outs while ensuring accuracy in billing, room assignments, and payment transactions.
- Maintain a detailed guest record, ensuring any preferences or special needs are documented for future stays.
- **Concierge & Guest Services**:
- Offer recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and experiences, personalized to each guest’s interests.
- Assist with arranging transportation, making bookings, and organizing any special requests such as celebrations, special accommodations, or experiences.
- **Communication & Coordination**:
- Maintain clear communication with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms and hotel facilities are ready for guest use.
- Keep guests informed about the hotel’s services, activities, and any updates or changes during their stay.
- **Administrative Duties**:
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, room availability, and any other necessary front office documentation.
- Ensure all front desk operations are completed smoothly and according to hotel policies.
- **Brand Representation**:
- Represent the hotel’s brand by maintaining a polished, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Uphold the values of providing exceptional, personalized service that makes every guest feel unique and valued.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with guests.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
- A friendly, approachable, and positive attitude with a passion for delivering personalized service.
- Availability to work flexible hours.
