**Job Summary**:
The Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dishwashing areas, and dining facilities. This role involves ensuring that all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored. The Steward also supports kitchen staff by assisting with basic food preparation and adhering to health and safety standards in the kitchen environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Dishwashing & Cleaning**:

- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils efficiently and safely.
- Ensure that the dishwashing machines are operating effectively, and manually clean items as needed.
- Clean and maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in accordance with food safety regulations.
- **Kitchen Organization**:

- Organize and restock dishes, glassware, and utensils in their appropriate storage areas.
- Assist in keeping the kitchen clean and orderly by wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping floors, and taking out the trash.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored when not in use.
- **Support for Kitchen Operations**:

- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed, such as chopping vegetables or gathering ingredients.
- Transport food supplies or equipment between storage areas and the kitchen.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring that items are properly labeled and stored in accordance with safety guidelines.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Properly dispose of waste, including recycling, and follow hazardous material protocols.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs for kitchen equipment and facilities to management.
- **Teamwork & Collaboration**:

- Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure a smooth workflow and timely service.
- Assist with set-up and breakdown of dining and kitchen areas for special events or large functions.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience as a steward, dishwasher, or in a similar role in hospitality is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and basic kitchen operations is an advantage.
- **Skills**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during busy service hours.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
