In this role, you will ensure exceptional client service, manage pricing strategies, and contribute to business growth in the shipping and logistics industry. **Key Responsibilities**
**Customer Service**:
- Act as the primary contact for client inquiries and efficiently resolve issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, documentation, and sales) to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Manage bookings, container tracking, and documentation processes with accuracy and timeliness.
- Proactively provide shipment updates and address potential delays or challenges.
**Pricing and Quotation Management**:
- Develop competitive pricing strategies aligned with market trends and operational costs.
- Prepare and deliver quotations promptly, meeting company revenue goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with shipping lines and vendors to negotiate favourable rates.
- Analyze pricing data to support management in strategic decision-making.
**Market Analysis and Reporting**:
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and freight rate changes to maintain competitiveness.
- Provide regular reports on pricing, customer feedback, and key performance metrics.
- Identify growth opportunities and suggest actionable strategies.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in customer service, pricing, or operations within the Freight Forwarding, NVOCC, or shipping industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of shipping documentation, Incoterms, and trade regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with shipping software is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving expertise.
